Dec. 5, 2025:
A 40 year old man from Iroquois has been indicted on one felony count of Aggravated Assault in the Nov. 22 shooting of another man in Iroquois.
Ace Bordeaux was indicted Friday (Dec. 5, 2025) by a Kingsbury County Grand Jury. He faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
The 47-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds and was taken by ambulance to the Huron hospital. The shooting occurred at a home in Iroquois.
South Dakota’s Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Kingsbury Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident. The Attorney General’s Office and the Kingsbury County State’s Attorney’s Office will prosecute.
Bordeaux is out on bond and his next court appearance has not yet been scheduled. He is presumed innocent under the U.S. Constitution.
Nov. 24, 2025:
The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into a Saturday night (Nov. 22, 2025) shooting incident in Iroquois that resulted in one person being injured and the other being arrested.
During an argument at a home in Iroquois, 40 year old Ace Bordeaux of Iroquois shot another man. Bordeaux was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm while intoxicated.
The 47-year-old victim suffered gunshot wounds and was taken by ambulance to the Huron hospital. He is listed in serious, but stable condition.
DCI, assisted by the Kingsbury Sheriff’s Office, is investigating the incident. Bordeaux is being held in the Beadle County Jail in Huron.
The Kingsbury State’s Attorney’s Office will prosecute.
Bordeaux is presumed innocent under the U.S. Constitution.
