On Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the State Oral Interp Competition in Watertown, Eddie Duffy — a junior at Stanley County Schools — earned a Superior Award in the serious category for his performance.
Eddie presented Revolution by Steve DuBois, in which Benedict Arnold reflects on a life marked by heroism, betrayal, and regret. Reflecting on the season, Eddie shared: “I had a super fun oral interp season with the team and I would encourage anyone thinking about it to join oral interp.”
