Lori Jacobson wins 2025 Countdown to Christmas grand prize

Lori Jacobson from Fort Pierre is the grand prize winner of the 2025 DRG Media Group Countdown to Christmas giveaway held Thursday evening (Dec. 18, 2025) at CommTech in Pierre.

The names of 12 finalists were drawn from the registration boxes at the sponsor locations and one wild card entry was drawn from the registration box at CommTech.

Jacobson– who signed up for the giveaway only one time– won her choice of either a 75 inch LG smart TV with home theater sound bar or a Montavue Surveillance System. She’s contemplating which one she’ll pick.

Brandon Ryckman from Pierre won the consolation prize of a Lenovo laptop.
