Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show set a new viewership record, according to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, who co-produced it.
They say it generated 4.157 BILLION views worldwide within the first 24 hours across multiple platforms . . . that’s the U.S. broadcast, international broadcasts, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Nielsen Big Data + Panel reported 128.2 million viewers watched the live U.S. broadcast, making it one of the most-watched Super Bowl performances ever. Only Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 show, which drew 133.4 million viewers, surpassed Bad Bunny’s numbers.
A breakdown of the calculation was not released, and it hasn’t been independently verified.
It’s worth mentioning that the world population is about 8.2 billion. But that doesn’t mean half the world has watched the halftime show. Digital “views” can include multiple watches from the same user, and impressions on social media.
