Country music superstar Jake Owen will perform Sunday night, Sept. 6, during the 2026 South Dakota State Fair in Huron.
Owen’s career includes a collection of gold and platinum records, ten number one singles, and more than 2.5 billion U.S. on-demand streams. The ACM Award winner is known for his laid-back style and chart-topping hits, including “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “Anywhere With You,” “Beachin”,’ “Alone With You,” and “The One That Got Away.”
The recording artist, entertainer, and actor has released 10 studio albums, including his most recent Dreams to Dream album, co-produced with Shooter Jennings. Beyond the stage, Owen is a music business executive, philanthropist, and father of two.

Country music artist Nate Smith will be the featured act in the Grandstand Saturday night, September 5, during the 2026 South Dakota State Fair in Huron.
Smith is the first Grandstand act of 2026 announced by the State Fair.
Smith earned his fourth consecutive #1 with “Fix What You Didn’t Break” after becoming the first artist in Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart history to launch their career with three straight multi-week #1 hits.. Those include “Whiskey On You,” “World on Fire” and “Bulletproof.” Smith was the 2024 ACM New Male Artist of the Year, Billboard’s 2024 Country Power Players Rookie of the Year and Amazon Music’s 2024 Breakthrough Artist.
