The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Pierre is this afternoon (March 17, 2026).
Central South Dakota Irish Club member Mark Gageby says this year’s parade Grand Marshal is Mike Finley from Fort Pierre.
Gageby says parade lineup starts at 4:30 in the Georgia Morse Middle School parking lot and the parade starts at 5:15pm.
Dawn Iversen with the Pierre-Fort Pierre Lions Club says their annual Irish stew and potato soup feed begins at 4:30pm at the American Legion.
Anyone is welcome to have an entry in the Pierre St. Patrick’s Day parade, just show up at the Georgia Morse Middle School parking lot at 4:30pm.
