Construction resumes today (March 23, 2026) on the Oglala Sioux Rural Water Supply System’s Waldron Street Pipe Replacement Project in Fort Pierre.
Waldron Street north of Highway 14 will be closed to allow for the work. Motorists should use the marked detour route.
Mayor Gloria Hanson says getting this project to the finish line has been quite a process.
Hanson says starting the work on Waldron Street next week does depend on the weather cooperating.
