Dakota Avenue in Pierre, adjacent to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital, will be closed on Tuesday (March 31, 2026) beginning at 7am to accommodate construction work.
Construction cones will be placed the evening prior to restrict parking. The closure will extend from just west of South Washington Avenue to just east of the Plaza 1 parking lot entrance. No on-street parking will be allowed in the area.
The road is expected to reopen by 5pm that same day.
