An America 250 South Dakota flag raising ceremony will be held today (April 2, 2026), at 1pm MT at the Haakon County Courthouse in Philip.

The America’s 250th South Dakota Commission, in partnership with Phillip Area Community Development and Maximum Promotions are hosting the event. The public is welcome to attend.
