Tomorrow (April 10, 2026) is the deadline to apply for grants from the Recreational Trails Program through South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks.
The Recreational Trails Program is a federal aid assistance program to help states provide and maintain trails for both motorized and non-motorized use. The program provides up to 80 percent reimbursement for all kinds of recreational trail uses.
RTP funds come from the Federal Highway Administration and are apportioned to states by Congress.
