A 19-year-old man from Louisiana is charged with Grand Theft after being arrested late last night (Tues.) in Pierre.
Information from the Pierre Police Department says officers were called to the 1700 block of North Garfield for a theft. When they arrived, store asset protection said they had observed Kyle Prejean of Rayne, Louisiana, unlock a display case he was not authorized to have access to. He removed two items and concealed them. The value of the items was more than $1,000.
Prejean was taken to the Hughes County jail.
