As the outside temperatures get colder, many utility company customers will likely be paying more to increase the inside temperatures.
Montana Dakota Utilities Senior Public Relations Representative Mark Hanson says current gas price projections show a price increase.
This summer has been warm, which Hanson says is a factor in the anticipated natural gas price hike this winter.
Hanson says winter weather will, of course, have the most impact over prices consumers pay during the heating season.
