The Mobridge City Council held a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022.
Police Department
Tristan Graves and Matthew Conrad were approved as new hire dispatchers for the Mobridge Police Department.
Council also approved some radio and computer equipment items as surplus for the department.
Fire Department
New Fire Department member Chase DeLaRoi was approved to the roster.
Officers for 2023 were approved: Chief Doug DeLaRoi, Assistant Chief Ryan Ries, Secretary/Treasurer Colton Hunter, and Training Officer Justin Sadler.
Fire Chief Doug DeLaRoi also gave the council an update on the fire truck project.
New Business
Under New Business, Council approved:
- An application for payment #4 from Northern Plains Contracting in the amount of $90,450.00.
- The first reading of the Supplemental Appropriations Ordinance. Finance Officer Heather Beck told the council there could be some changes before the second reading as bills come in.
- A resolution for attorney services with Bantz, Gosch, and Cremer, LLC, at a rate of $260.00 per hour.
- A contract with NECOG. The City’s portion will be $1,720.00.
- A transfer out from PSAP to the General Fund for dispatch services in the amount of $230,961.
The Mobridge City Council’s year end meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 5:30pm.
