PIERRE – A comeback bid in the last two minutes fell short for Pierre Governor Boys Basketball Saturday in a 63-57 loss to Sioux Falls Washington at the Riggs High Gym.
Washington led 57-45 with just over two and a half minutes to play when Pierre rallied to cut the Warriors’ lead to 61-57.
AJ Akot led Washington (3-1) with 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting, nine rebounds and a blocked shot. Mandalla Mohammed had 16 and Cole Peterson added 14 for the Warriors.
