FORT PIERRE – Two of the top three scorers in Oahe Capital boys hockey history are among the members of the inaugural class of the South Dakota Hockey Hall of Fame.
Austin Wagner, the Capitals’ all-time leading scorer, is included in the player category, as is Landon Badger, the Capitals’ JV boys coach and the third leading scorer in program history. Also included is Matt Farris, whose points record Wagner broke.
This is the second Hall of Fame induction for Badger, who entered the South Dakota Baseball Hall of Fame last year.
Wagner, Badger, Farris and 12 others will be celebrated during an induction banquet on Friday, April 14 at 7:00 PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
