Water service expected to be out until late morning for Flag Mountain Drive area in Pierre while a water main break is repaired

Pierre residents in the Flag Mountain Drive area should expect a complete loss of water service late this morning (March 24, 2023) because of a water main break yesterday afternoon.

Water service is expected to be fully restored by this evening.

A private contractor working in the area caused the damage to the water line.
