RAPID CITY – Pierre Governor Boys Tennis split its first four duals Friday and Saturday in the West River Invitational at Parkview Tennis Courts.
On Friday, Pierre lost 9-0 to Rapid City Stevens before defeating Spearfish 7-2.
The Governors lost 6-3 to St. Thomas More Saturday, then won over Rapid City Christian 9-0.
Carter Gordon won three singles matches for the Governors. Jacob and Joseph Mikkonen won three doubles matches.
