Lyman’s Volmer Wins In Hurdles At Dan Lennon Meet

VERMILLION – Lyman’s Skyler Volmer had one event win and a second-place finish in another Tuesday at the Dan Lennon Indoor Track & Field meet at the DakotaDome.

Volmer won the girls high jump, clearing five feet, six inches. She also was second in the 60-meter hurdles final in 9.65 seconds, only three hundredths of a second behind winner Claire Miller of Denison-Schleswig.

Also for the Raiders, Rory McManus finished sixth in the boys 60 meter hurdles and Carter Eriksen was ninth in the triple jump.
