First test of new Fort Pierre/Stanley County emergency response plan goes well

This week’s snow storm gave the City of Fort Pierre the opportunity to implement it’s new emergency response plan.

Mayor Gloria Hanson says the response was a combined effort.

The weather forecast for the coming week shows temperatures climbing into the 60s and even 70s in central South Dakota so the majority of the snow received this week is expected to melt quickly.
