A man spent $24,000 to turn a Boeing 737 into an Airbnb! The new digs even feature a cockpit flight simulator and a hot tub.
Steven Northam of Britain paid $6,165 for the aircraft, which was sold on eBay. After three months of work, the Boeing 737 is now a luxury rental. Northam removed the seats, divided the space into various living areas, and decorated the interior with plane-themed pillows and screens. The overhead storage bins can still be used for your belongings!
In total, the aircraft can sleep four people. While it’s not listed on Airbnb yet, Northam says there’s already a long list of hopefuls! Families with children in particular have shown interest. (Insider)
