If you were desperate to find the BEST psychic, what qualifications would you look for? Proven results? Yelp reviews? A PhD?
A man in L.A. named Mauro Restrepo has just filed a THIRD lawsuit against a psychic for defrauding him out of $1,000 . . . and causing emotional distress.
Mauro says his ex-girlfriend hired a witch to place a curse on him, and he desperately needed it removed. He went to a psychic named Sophia Adams, who he found through Google.
She had a PhD, which she said required “special schooling,” so he chose her.
Sophia told Mauro he could remove the curse by purchasing a $5,100 crystal from her. He gave her a $1,000 down payment, and took the crystal.
I know this will probably come as a shock, but the crystal didn’t do anything . . . and Mauro thinks he’s been duped.
He’s demanding $25,000 in damages.
Sophia’s lawyers say she didn’t swindle Mauro . . . and if he gives the crystal back, she’ll return his money.
It’s unclear how Mauro has been able to re-file the case again and again . . . a judge previously dismissed his claims saying he lacked the evidence needed to move forward.
