FREMONT, NE – An early lead was enough to withstand an Oahe rally and give the Fremont Moo a 10-6 win over the Oahe Zap Thursday at Moller Field, the 10th consecutive loss for the Zap.
Blake Tablazon had three hits, including a double, and three RBI for the Moo, who completed a series sweep. Sammy Contacos had three hits with two RBI.
Starting pitcher Brady Glenn lost for the Zap (1-13), giving up five runs and nine hits in three innings. Trevor Seagraves had three hits. Preston Lau and Kyle Memarian drove in runs, but the Zap did not take full advantage of six Fremont errors.
