Some smoke from Canadian wildfires in has settled into South Dakota again, but it’s not as thick as it was when smoke covered the state last month.
Kelly Serr is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Aberdeen. She says the smoke will likely linger for the next few days (June 27, 2023), especially on the eastern side of the state.
