CASPER, Wyo. – The Pierre Trappers built a 4-0 lead after two innings but could not hold on as the Casper Horseheads rallied for a 8-5 win Wednesday night in Casper, Wyo. in Expedition League action. Casper took the lead with a 4 run 6th inning and never relinquished it sending the Trappers to their 13th loss of the season. Alex Sheetz took the loss in relief for the Trappers allowing 2 runs on two hits in the final 3 innings of releif of starter Jackson Bak who gave up 6 runs on 6 hits. Nate Piazza and Jacks Simsonsen had extra base hits and Micheal Herrera, Cal Smith and Jack Stamper each had RBI hits for the Trappers who had a total of 6 hits in the game. 5 of Caspers 8 hits were extra base hits. The two teams play game two of the the three game series tonight in Casper.
