Ft. Pierre Rodeo to Begin Tonight

FT. PIERRE, S.D. – The 92nd annual Ft. Pierre 4th of July Rodeo will be held tonight and tomorrow night at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Ft. Pierre. There will be the first rodeo performance tonight at 7 pm at the Stanley County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena with the second and final performance tomorrow night followed by the annual Ft. Pierre Fire Department Fireworks Display. The rodeo is NRCA and SDRA sanctioned with stock provieded by X3 Rodeo, Longbrake Rodeo, Weischedel Bulls and Lakota Livestock. The Rodeo is sponsored in part by KPLO-FM and KGFX which are members of the Dakota Rodeo Group.
