KOHLER, Wis. – Former Pierre Lady Governor state champion and Northern Michigan senior golfer Karissa Guthrie won the women’s Kohler Classic as the Northern Michigan University Women’s Golf team took second place in the seven team field. The tournament wrapped up on Monday. Guthrie finished the first day tied for first with a round of 75. She followed it with a round of 77 to finish with a score of 152 and finished five strokes ahead of second place. As a team, the Wildcats finished with a final score of 652 which was 17 strokes better than third place. The Wildcats will now take a break from action until the spring.
