RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor tennis team has 58 points and is 17th in the standings after day 2 of the South Dakota High School Girls State Tennis tournament in Rapid City. There is a 3 way tie for the lead with Rapid City Stevens, Sioux Falls Lincoln and Sioux Falls O’Gorman each with 300 points. Watertown is 4th with 280. The number 2 flight doubles team of Kara Weiss and Sydney Tedrow were the only Lady Gov players to get into the quarterfinals before losing to Watertown. The tournament continues today in Rapid City with the championshps determined tomorrow.
