Lady Govs Down Brandon Valley

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor volleyball team put a strong effort together on Tuesday and downed Brandon Valley 3-1 in high school volleyball. The Lady Govs won the match by scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-15, 25-23. Pierre was led by Addy Smith who had 12 kills on the night as the Lady Govs recorded a 45-32 kill advantage in the contest. Kodi Severyn was next with 11. Pierre improves to 6-5 on the season as they return home for games this weekend. Pierre will host Yankton on Friday night and then entertain Sioux Falls O’Gorman on Saturday night in a match that will be covered on RIVER 927-FM.
