SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League announced their year award honorees with Head Coach Rod DeHaven winning Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year. It is his seventh men’s honor, which is the second-most ever on the men’s side since the honor was introduced in 1982. DeHaven has won the men’s honor seven out of the 12 years the Jackrabbits have been in the league, which is the most in that span. Overall, Coach DeHaven has won eight cross country coach of the year honors, garnering the women’s accolade in 2008. He has also earned a Summit League Indoor Coach of the Year honor on the men’s side in 2017.
