Lady Govs Win Season Opening Gymnastics Meet

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Lady Governor Gymnastics team opened the season on Thursday with a 133.950 score to win the quadrangular with Huron, Chamberlain and Stanley County. Huron was next with a 130.150 followed by Chamberlalin with a 116.500 and Stanley County with 97.000. Erica Zell of Huron won the All Around with a score of 35. Meg Erwin and Micah Moser of Pierre were next in line with scores of 34.150 and 33.900. Erwin won the Beam and Moser took the Floor Exercise for the Lady Governor winners individually. Pierre will compete in the Lolly Forseth Invite hosted by Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Saturday.
