PIERRE, S.D. – The Oahe Capitals Pee Wee A and C hockey teams hosted games this past weekend. The Pee Wee A team hosted Watertown on Saturday and recorded a 5-0 win. Nick Gray, Keller Herman, Dylan Dotson, Carter Sanderson and Jarron Beck scored for the Capitals in the game and goaltender Barret Schweitzer posted a shutout in net. On Sunday, the Pee Wee A team hosted Brookings and dropped a 6-2 verdict as they were outshot in the game by a 34-18 margin. Sanderson and Herman scored first period goals for the Capitals. The Pee Wee A team is now 2-2 as they travel to Aberdeen on Saturday. The Pee Wee C hockey team hosted Yankton on Saturday and recorded a 3-2 win. Jonas Farmen, Kaden Hunhoff and Tanner Ondell scored for Oahe and goaltender Jaxon Jungwirth stopped 26 of 28 shots on goal. On Sunday, Watertown came to the EXPO Center to face the Capital Pee Wee C team and shutout the Lakers 5-0. Jungwirth got the shutout in goal and a hat trick from Farmen led the offensive attack. Keegan Kitts scored twice for the Capitals who improved to 4 and 0 on the season.
Oahe Pee Wee A and C Teams Post Weekend Victories
