NOVEMBER 3, 2023:
For the eighth consecutive month, Watertown Regional Airport boarded more than 1,000 passengers on commercial flights.
Manager Rob Cyrus says 1,392 passengers flew out of Watertown on Denver Air Connection flights last month (Oct. 2023). The breakdown was 839 enplanements to Denver, and 553 to Chicago.
For the first ten months of the year, Watertown saw 13,047 passenger enplanements, and is on pace to see close to 16,000 for the calendar year. The 2023 totals through October show 7,861 passengers have flown out of Watertown to Denver, and another 5,080 to Chicago O’Hare.
Watertown Regional Airport has also recorded 106 charter passenger enplanements this year.
Denver Air Connection also provides the commercial air service for the Pierre Regional Airport.

SEPTEMBER 5, 2023:
The Watertown Regional Airport (ATY) has flown past the 10,000 mark in passenger enplanements for the year.
Airport Manager Rob Cyrus says there were 1,337 passenger boardings in August. Denver Air Connection provides the commercial air service for Watertown as well as Pierre.
776 passengers flew to Denver, and 561 to Chicago.
For the year, Watertown has seen total enplanements of 10,341, which qualifies the airport for a $1-million grant from the federal government for airport improvement projects.
