PIERRE, S.D. – Twenty eight swimmers from the Pierre Swim Team (PST) competed at the State B Championship this past weekend in Watertown. Many swimmers had personal best times with several top ten finishes allowing the team to win the percentage award. Among some of the top finishers were Senior Adam Schochenmaier in the 17-19 boys division where he had 7 state qualifying swims with 1st place finishes in the 50, 200, and 500 freestyle and 200 yard breaststroke. For the girls 15-16 division, Katelyn Harris swam to 1st place in the 200 and 500 freestyle, and the 100 butterfly. For the boys 11-12, Colton Cass had a first place finish in the 500 yard freestyle qualifying for the state meet and swam 6 personal best times.
