PIERRE, S.D. – Pierre Swim Team sent athletes to two meets this past weekend on both sides of the state. Five athletes competed at the Deadwood Swimming Invitational and one competed at the Watertown Optimist Meet. In Watertown, Charlie Simpson won the second place high points award in the boys 11-12 division. In Deadwood Michelle Weiss had a great weekend, placing first in six of her events and Deni Zeeb had 7 first place finishes and a second place in her 8 events. Pierre Swim Team will be back in action this coming weekend with six athletes competing as part of Team South Dakota at the Midwest All-Stars Meet in Elkhorn, Nebraska, and 39 athletes competing in Bismarck at the Aquastorm Category 5 Swim Meet.
