Fans Urged to Purchase E-Tickets for Governors Football Playoff Opener

PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Governor football team begins defense of it’s Class 11AA football state championship of a year ago tomorrow night when they host Spearfish is the opening round of the Class 11AA football playoffs at Phil Trautner Stadium at Hollister Field. The Governors are the top seed in the playoffs and bring a 7-2 regular season record into the off season. Spearfish is 2 and 7 and is the 8th seed in the 8 team playoff field. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 pm central time and fans are reminded that no school activity passes will be allowed with the game being a South Dakota Dakota High School Activities Association Sanctioned event. So fans do not have to wait in line at the ticket booth’s they can purchase their E-Tickets to the game from the South Dakota High School Activities Association website or from www.gofan.com.. E-Tickets are available for all playoff games up to the State Championship dates.
