PLATTE, S.D. – Three girls from Kimball White Lake were named to the South Central Conference All Conference Girls basketball team on Monday. The three Kimball White Lake players were Kennedy Lieferman, Grace Konechne and Heather Munsen. The three girls led Kimball White Lake to a 4-1 conference record and second place finish behind conference champion Andes Central-Dakota Christian. McKensie Muckie, Tyra Medicine Horn and Brie Drummer made the All Conference team from AC-DC. Also named to the team are Jessy Jo VanDerWerff and Sydney Svatos from Gregory, Torri Wiens, Dominique Girton and Maddi Miller from Platte-Geddes along with Taylee Indahl and Lahna Matucha of Burke. Name Honorable Mention all conference are Sally Hakin of Burke, Sidney Muckey and Isabel Pheifer of Andes Central/Dakota Christian. Mikayla Shippy and Saydee Heath of Colome and Megan Warnke of Gregory.

PLATTE, S.D. – Four players from Kimball White Lake head up the South Central Conference All Conference Boys Basketball team named on Monday. The four are Carter Frederickson, Kordel Kiehn, Javen Holan and Justin Becker. The four players from Kimball White Lake are the most numberwise on the team. Other All Conference players are Kelby VanDerWerff and Hayden Stluka of Platte-Geddes. Jackson Kinzer and Layton Theiman of Colome, Daaron Tronvold and Cliff Johnson of Andes Central-Dakota Christian. Tommy Determan and Coy Determan of Gregory, and Jaden Frank Burke. Honorable Mention selections are Calvin Ringing Shield of Colome, Kade Starr of Platte-Geddes and Tyson Mayer of Burke. Colome, Kimball-White Lake and Platte-Geddes all were 4 and 1 in conference play to tie for the Conference Championship.
