Jarovski and DeBeer Names Track and Field Coaches of the Year

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jim Jarovski of Sioux Falls Lincoln High School and Rachelle DeBeer of Deubrook Area High School have been named the South Dakota High School Track and Field Coach of the Year recipients by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association. Jarovski has coached at Sioux Falls Lincoln for 13 years and coached this year’s Patriots to their 4th consecutive boys State Track and Field championship and 5th overall combined State Championship for boys and girls in the Class AA ranks. DeBeer guided Deubrook Area to their third consecutive Girls State Track and Field Class B championship last month. Both coaches coached 19 individual state champions in various events last month at the State High School Track and Field meet.
