SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sophomore Rachel Propst of the South Dakota State Track and Field team earned Academic All Summit League honors on Thursday. Propst, a native of Pierre, ran 11 events in her senior outdoor campaign the included a personal-best reset streak of three in the 800m and four consecutive in the 1,500m to cut 7.26 and 10.14 seconds off each event. She nearly scored in her first 3,000m steeplechase of the season at the league championships while being a member of the winning distance medley squad indoors, earning her first all-league honors of her career.
