There’s a lot of new faces at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce so the staff held an open house yesterday (Oct. 17, 2023) as an opportunity for community members to meet them and share thoughts about the work the organization does.
CEO Alicia Fabel says staff members are excited to engage with the community
Fabel says the Chamber helps promote its members and the Pierre area.
Fabel says they have a few different events this week focused on this weekend’s pheasant hunting season opener.

OCTOBER 17, 2023:
The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce is holding an Open House today (Oct. 17, 2023) from 3:30-5:30 at the chamber office (800 W Dakota Ave.).
People are invited to get to know the entirely new team behind the work of the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce. Staff members are excited to engage with the community, share their visions and hear your thoughts.
Attendees will be able to enjoy light refreshments as you mingle and discuss the possibilities for collaboration that lie ahead.
