FORT PIERRE – For the second straight game, a big second period by the visitor did in the Oahe Capital Boys.
Mylan Evans scored four goals in the middle frame and the Watertown Lakers sent the Capitals to their second straight loss Saturday 5-3 at the Expo Center.
An Aidan Dozark power play goal with 7:30 left in the first period gave the Capitals (1-3-0-0) a 1-0 lead.
Evans then scored at 43 seconds of the second period, then just eight seconds later, then again at 9:46. After a Barret Schweitzer goal for Oahe, Evans scored his fourth for Watertown (2-2-0-0).
Luke Miller scored 18 seconds into the third period to cut the Watertown lead to 4-3, but the Lakers’ Thomas Foley, who earlier had three assists, scored at 5:49 of the third for the final margin.
In the Capital net, Jaxon Jungworth made 25 saves.
