BROOKS MONFORE YOUTH WRESTLING TOURNAMENT SUNDAY
PIERRE – One of the largest youth wrestling tournaments in Central South Dakota comes Sunday (Jan. 21, 2024) at Riggs High Gym in Pierre with the annual Brooks Monfore Memorial Heart of a Champion Tournament.
Preregistration is open until Saturday at 10:00 PM through Trackwrestling, only with divisions for wrestlers born from 2010 or later. District weight classes and bracketing will be used. There will be no weigh-ins unless challenged, in which case wrestlers must be within two pounds of their registered weight. Check-in time will be from 9:30-10:30 AM with wrestling beginning at 11:00.
Admission to the event will be $15 for wrestlers, $5 for adults and $3 for students.
