An Aberdeen man who initially said he was exploring the idea of challenging South Dakota Republican US Congressman Dusty Johnson, will now focus his efforts in South Dakota instead.
Toby Doeden says, “South Dakota faces significant challenges, and after extensive conversations statewide, it’s clear that my skills and resources are most urgently needed here, not in Washington, D.C. I’m announcing a shift in focus: rather than running against Dusty Johnson, I’m dedicating 100% of my efforts to building the most powerful conservative coalition in South Dakota’s history.”
Doeden says he’s “personally funding this coalition, as well as raising millions more to put strong conservative fighters into office – so that we can pass on to our children and grandchildren a better South Dakota, a place they’re proud to call home. I want to express my gratitude to each supporter – this is just the beginning of our collective effort to protect South Dakota’s conservative values.”
