TABOR, S.D. — Tabor scored in each inning, advancing to the championship of the Region 4B American Legion Baseball Tournament with a 12-1 victory over Chamberlain on Thursday in Tabor. John Kubal went 3-3 with a double and three runs scored, and Tanner Van Driel had two doubles and two runs scored for Tabor, which advances to Saturday’s 6 p.m. final. Remington Rossow doubled for Chamberlain. Carter Collins also had a hit. Max Donovan took the loss for Chamberlain. Chamberlain will play either McCook-Miner or Alexandria today (Friday) at 8 p.m. The winner of that contest joins Tabor in the final, needing to beat Tabor twice to win the tournament.
