Chamberlain Post Legion Baseball Doubleheader Sweep Over Martin

CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. — Chamberlain Post 3 ran its winning streak to six games on Wednesday with a doubleheader split over Martin in games played in Chamberlain. In the opener, Chamberlain rallied for a 5-3 win, before adding a 3-0 shutout win in Game 2. In the opening win, Max Donovan tossed all five innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits and struck out eight Martin batters. In Game 2, the teams combined for five hits as Caden Lenz pitched a complete-game shutout for Chamberlain, allowing just two hits while striking out 13 over the 5 innings. Chamberlain scored all three of the game’s runs in the third inning.
