To be an astute criminal these days, it’s good to have a strong recollection of Hollywood’s CLASSIC films.
Two women in Ohio have been arrested, after they pulled a “Weekend at Bernie’s” this past Monday.
They propped an 80-year-old DEAD MAN up in their car . . . and then went to a bank’s drive-thru where they withdrew $900 from his account. It worked.
They weren’t relatives, but they lived with the man. The bank had previously allowed them to take money out, as long as he was with them. They clearly didn’t notice that the guy was no longer alive.
The women then dumped the man’s body off at a hospital and sped off.
Eventually the cops caught up with them . . . questioned them . . . and then arrested them. They both have rap sheets that include theft and drug offenses, and one has been convicted of reckless assault.
They told police they found the man dead inside the home earlier that day, but his cause of death is still under investigation.
(Here are their mugshots.)
