VERMILLION, S.D. – Sioux Falls Christian fired a opening round 330 and holds a 14 shot lead over second place Parkston after the first day of the State Class A Boys golf tournament being played at the Bluffs Run Golf Course in Vermillion. Chamberlain had a 368 and sits in the 8th place after the first day. Lance Christensen of Little Wound had an opening round 77 and is one shot up on Carson Van Beek of Sioux Falls Christian and Quinn Borman of Parkston going into today’s final round. Cameron Caldwell and Dayton Priebe of Chamberlain each fired rouns of 86 and are tie for 18th. Dakota Munger had an opening round 92 while Sandler Wiekamp had a 104 and Max Kelsey a 108. Mobridge-Pollock had an opening round 432 and is in 14th place in the team standings. The second and final round of the State Class A Golf tournament is today (Tuesday).
