An actor from South Dakota is the recipient of the New Horizon award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
Mo Brings Plenty received the honor during the Western Heritage Awards celebration held earlier this month (April 12-13, 2024).
According to information about him posted on the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum website, Brings Plenty is an enrolled Lakota from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Currently, he is most well known for his role on the Taylor Sheridan/ViacomCBS series “Yellowstone.”
When Brings Plenty isn’t working as an actor, the website says he can be found ranching or seeking ways to give back to his Lakota communities and Indian Country– including preserving culture, tradition and seeking cultural truth in diversity.
