PIERRE, S.D. – With the Coronavirus (COVID 19) Pandemic bringing the sports world to a complete stop the last month and a half, officials of all sports leagues. professional, collegiate, high school and youth are looking as to when and how to start up once the Pandemic slows down. Pierre Riggs High School Athletic Director Brian Moser as far as the high school sport schedules are concerned for the 2020-2021 school year, he is proceeding as if it were to be a normal year**.
He says he has been in contact with Athletic Directors around the state during the Pandemic shutdown**.
While it is important to get gyms open for open gyms for students and weight room open for the athletes, this break has been put to good use by the school district according to Moser**.
Moser adds that he has been impressed by this year’s senior athletes in dealing with the things that have been handed them**.
Moser says the key is remaining to be patient and roll with the flow if we have to.
