SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Pierre Governor speedster Kali Ringstmeyer won a State title on Saturday in one of two individual events she was entered in. Rignstmeyer won the 100 meter dash in a time of 12.09. The 200 meter dash state title eluded her as she was she was edged out at the finish line by Ella Bradeen of Rapid City Stevens. Bradeen won in a time of 25.38. Ringstmeyer finished second with a time of 25.40.
Reese Terwilliger ended a brilliant athletic career for the Governor Girls by winning the State Championship in the Shot Put. Terwilliger had a state winning toss of 43-02.00 to claim the title.

The Governor boys had three people place in the top five of their events. Jared Lutmer finished second in the 3200 meter run; Colter Babcock was runner up in the Boys Javelin; and Carson Stoesser took third place in the Long Jump.
