WINNER, S.D. – Winner won a shootout from Stanley County Thursday night in boys basketball in Winner. Winner downed the Buffalos 75-60 in the regular season finale for both teams. The Warriors led 38-32 at halftime and put the game away in the third quarter by outscoring the Buffalos 21-9. Brady Fitz had another big game for the Warriors erupting for 39 points to lead three double figure scorers. Joren Brun added 24 and Fred Whiting 16. The Buffalos got 20 points from Nathan Cook to lead the way. Lathan Prince added 17 and Slater Tople 11. Both teams head into Region Tournament action next weekend.
